Seoul was number three on the list of “The 31 Places to Go in 2010” released by New York Times (NYT). In its article on January 10th, the NYT introduced 31 places to visit in 2010 and put Seoul in the third spot after Sri Lanka and Patagonia Wine Country
  Upcoming Festival  
  2010 Taebaeksan Mountains Snow Festival
Where: Taebaeksan Mountain Provincial Park, O2 Resort, Hwangji Pond etc. Taebaek-si Gangwon-do
When: Jan 22nd(Fri) – Jan 31st(Sun)
Marking its 17th anniversary this year, the festival is frequented by people from neighbouring Asian countries or regions of Korea where it rarely snows. And with the particularly large amount of snow this year, the snow views of Taebaeksan Mountain (1,567 m above the sea level) is expected to be much more breathtaking this year.
